Turn out the lights to hear the colors expand
open your veins and let yourself flow into the airwaves
the numbers make such beautiful music
keep the count in tones and bullets points
his scent feels like velvet and you need more
the taste of licorice and rum as he speaks
you wish for nothing but to bathe your taste buds in it.
He dances in your blood as it rises to the ceiling
straight faced and cold eyed
And it warms your hands as you cradle his face.
His eyes are the color of Thursdays
and you can see the end in them reflected in stone.
Through her headphones color flows
shades of rich azure, turquoise, violet,
a red drumbeat pounding.
Onto canvas she paints pitches,
high notes as shining waves of light,
low notes a dark grey shadow.
Few of her visions are vexatious
except for snapping fingers; muddled greens
and murky browns appear in her eyes as sordid specks.
Yet she takes the specks,
for the beauty she sees is worth its bite.
She would never trade the magic that is in her eyes.
She dances, and puffs of pomp and power purple
patter from her feet;
otherworldly beauty is her reality.
An angel by my feet
Telling me to play nice
Be good to all the people
So they don't sacrifice
But I got a demon in my head
Breaking all the rules
Teaching me to lie
So I won't be such a fool
Then the angel by my feet
Whispers in my ear
You can be so much better
Than what your eyes are seeing
But the demon in my head
He'll never let me go
Screaming 'Screw the angel'
You're just so dead it shows
The angel keeps persisting
I know you can still be saved
I'm not sure I believe
This angel's teaching ways
And the Demon says
No way you're lost
Fallen, shattered and hopeless
You're just a broken ghost
The angel loses hope

Of Angels and Demons[LevixReaderxEren AU]
For every Human
There is an Angel
For every Entity
There is a Demon.
For every injustice
A Demon thrives
And torments the helpless
who have lost their lives.
For every child born
An Angel gains it's wings.
To watch the child blossom
Like cherry blossoms in Spring
A bloody war this is
Of Heavenly Light
And Deadly Hell Fire
For the sake of a young woman's

Angels Die and Devils Cry
Angels Die and Devils Cry
This night studded with stars
Crystal tears the angels cry
Everyone is hurting with me alive
I am not with you
Everything I touched is
Streaked with blood
Thoughts of razor blades
In my sea of darkness
Nothing is alright
It hurts to never see
All my demons
That cry within
I am not with you
Sketch after sketch using lines of pain
Every dream I dream is the same
This night, flooded with darkness
Lost am I and lonely
Undeserving am I
A wilting flower in my hand
Fingers stuck to thorns
A white rose, red with blood
I am not with you
Playing with shadow men
My only friends in this
Sweet hell that n
While we will thrive on the promises
Of uplifting wings of victory
To take us home on clouds,
And the brilliant glow of glory
To spotlight us for the world to see,
There are no angels here.
Although the darkened corners are illuminated
By happiness and unity,
And all the rain dries up mid-fall,
We will not find demons here
When the light cannot prevail.
There is only us and these immortal words:
"There are no angels
And there are no demons.
There are only people noble enough
To take your hand and guide you,
And people spiteful enough to mislead you."
There are only us and the world we know,
And I hope you understand

Inner Demons
Silently peaceful
Praying for the prey
A saint so blissful
Don't let the old scars awake
Chaotically graceful
A storm of rage comes my way
Idle hands yearn to be unfaithful
Even the heavens won't feel safe

I am my greatest fear
I am my own worst enemy
The glares I give myself are fierce
I barely hold onto this false harmony
My twisted thoughts flicker / The acts of a sinner
The silence of a confessor / A secret held forever
The madness took over / Becoming hell's harbinger
I am the lawless; I am executioner / This is my will; this is my terror
I hated my own reflection
Knowing the truth behind the lie
I destroyed my o
